Deception

The church is apostate.

We are all deceived, except for the very elect.

Messiah warns that the end times will be so deceptive with false Christs and false prophets that if it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. (Matthew 24:24)

Deceptions are everywhere, and far too many to list.

Today’s church, split up into many thousands of denominations, is rejecting the Word to follow mere men who preach smooth ear tickling doctrine as Paul so accurately warned in 2 Timothy 3&4.
The book of revelation quotes over 600 chapters in the scriptures of the Old Testament, yet many of these end days pastors will tell you that the Old Testament is 99% fulfilled.
The church is riddled with lies, and Paul said because people hate the truth, they will be given up to a strong delusion. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

The end days church has accomplished every evil act recorded in God’s warnings and we are going to suffer mightily for that sin. Please read Jeremiah 23.

How can anyone know what the truth is?

The Messiah tells us how. In John 14 he tells us that if we love him then we must keep his commandments and he will ask the Father to send us the second comforter, the Spirit of Truth.  The Spirit will show us the truth.

As we sharpen iron, considering what others see in scripture, we must also search the scriptures for ourselves. Always remember what Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:21: “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”

We are also told that watchmen in the last days will rise-up and warn the church to repent, and to turn to the Holy Covenant. (Ezekiel 2/3/33/34 Rev 10:9-11)

Will the watchmen have the full truth?

Probably not, since the prophet Isaiah says they will fall short and will not agree with each other until the Messiah returns. (Isaiah 56:9-12 and Isa 52:8)

Please take heed of Paul’s warnings. If anyone thinks he/she is of the very elect, we should reconsider and humble themselves immediately.

“Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” 2 Corinthians 10:12

For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” 1 Corinthians 10:12

Be on guard. A man of sin is coming who will deceive so many of us by many fantastic miracles that appear to be good. Today we are being set-up to want, even cheer, the assuring miracles and smooth talk he will dispense. We are easy pickings for the master deceiver because, as Jeremiah 17:9 says: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

What’s the antidote for a spirit of antichrist? “A love of the truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:10).

We must all study all the Word, and faithfully LIVE IT.

Remember, the Bible says Satan deceives the whole world. No exceptions.

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God, day and night.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Rev 12:9-12

We must ask ourselves:

How am I deceived?

Please research, meditate, pray, and decide for yourself.
